QA Engineer

We're hiring a QA Engineer to join our team, to oversee and execute diverse testing activities, including functional, exploratory, and automated tests with tools such as Playwright or Cypress. In this role, you'll test across web, mobile, and API environments, produce comprehensive documentation, and work closely with our project team.

Responsibilities

• Perform various types of testing (functional, exploratory, load, black-box, user-acceptance)
• Test across different environments (web, mobile, API, database)
• Identify, document, and track defects found during testing.
• Use Browser Developer Tools to debug and qualify defects
• Prepare testing approaches, plans, and cases based on project specifications
• Create and maintain test reports and documentation
• Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases, test results, and bug reports.
• Collaborate closely with the project team and stakeholders
• Manage testing activities independently, including prioritization and updates
• Understand and contribute to quality assurance policies and procedures
• Self-manage to achieve product quality goals
• Execute manual tests and automate test cases using tools like Playwright or Cypress
• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks
• Analyze test results and provide feedback to the development team
• Continuously improve test automation processes and scripts

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
• Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in various testing types and software management tools
• Basic experience with API testing and automation tools (Eg. Postman)
• Experience with test automation tools, preferably Playwright or Cypress
• Basic programming skills in JavaScript or TypeScript
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to estimate, plan, and coordinate testing activities
• Experience working both independently and in a team environment
