QA Engineer

We're hiring a QA Engineer to join our team, to oversee and execute diverse testing activities, including functional, exploratory, and automated tests with tools such as Playwright or Cypress. In this role, you'll test across web, mobile, and API environments, produce comprehensive documentation, and work closely with our project team.

Responsibilities

• Perform different types of testing (functional, exploratory, black-box, user-acceptance)
• Test across web, mobile, and API environments
• Identify, document, and track defects found during testing
• Use Browser Developer Tools to investigate and support debugging of issues
• Execute test cases based on project specifications
• Create and maintain clear test documentation, including test cases, test results, and bug reports
• Collaborate closely with the QA team, developers, and other stakeholders
• Provide regular updates on testing progress and results
• Follow QA processes and contribute to improving product quality
• Execute manual tests and begin contributing to automation using tools like Playwright or Cypress

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with different types of testing (functional, exploratory, regression)
• Basic experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman)
• Exposure to test automation tools (Playwright, Cypress, or similar)
• Basic programming knowledge in JavaScript or TypeScript (a plus)
• Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
