Your key responsibilities:

• Perform various types of testing such as functional, exploratory, load, black-box and user-acceptance level testing
• Testing in different environments including web, mobile, API endpoints, database layer, filesystem
• Understanding the structure of HTML DOM and the use of Browser Developer Tools to debug and qualify certain defects
• Prepare a testing approach in accordance with the software specification, project documents and designs
• Prepare test reports to communicate the outcomes of quality activities
• Work closely and continuously with the project team and the client
• Ability to prepare a testing plan and test cases, update them along with the sprint and the project lifetime without ongoing supervision or mentorship
• Deeply understand the quality assurance policies and procedures
• Propose improvements to the quality assurance policies and procedures where fitting
• Self-manage yourself to achieve the product quality goals, assess and reprioritize in coordination with the team and the client
• Document quality assurance activities
• Running manual tests and preparedness to learn to write and execute automated tests

Your skills and experience:

• 2+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
• Attention to detail, analytical mindset and problem-solving attitude
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
• Experience with various types of testing and software management tools
• Problem analysis and problem-solving
• Estimate, plan, prioritize and coordinate testing activities
• Ability to collaborate in a team and work individually
• Ability to work towards tight deadlines, where necessary

Nice to have:

• Engineering or software development experience, including knowledge of at least 1 programming language
• QA Certification
• Experience in Automation testing
• Knowledge of Quality Management Frameworks and processes including Lean and Six Sigma
• Writing and executing automated test scripts
• Basic IT fundamentals knowledge
